The B20 Responsible Business Conduct & Anti-Corruption Cross-thematic Group will have its kick-off meeting on October 21 in Basel. The meeting is organized co-jointly with the Basel Institute on Governance. After a presentation on the implementation status of previous B20 recommendations, participants will discuss current priorities of the business community on responsible business conduct, and then debate the agenda of the B20 Cross-thematic Group under German presidency.
The International Centre for Collective Action (ICCA) at the Basel Institute on Governance will hold a conference on “Collective Action: Evidence, Experience and Impact” on 20 - 21 October 2016 in Basel, Switzerland. This conference hosted by the Egyptian Junior Business (EJB) Integrity Network Initiative aims to raise awareness of the importance of integrity efforts for the business sector and more specifically will look at the importance of countering corruption in light of its influence on long-term investment and a sustainable economic development of Egypt.
The Basel Institute/GCSP course on Leadership in Anti-Corruption (21-23 March 2016, Geneva) aims to equip participants with an understanding of the particular requirements for leadership when it comes to the effective implementation of anti-corruption policies/reforms.
