Mission

Promote ethical business practices in Indonesia

Goals

Since 1999, Indonesia Business Links (IBL) has been dedicated to promoting ethical business practices in Indonesia.

The IBL initiaitve's main objectives are to:

  • Increase awareness of businesses and their supply chain of integrity in implementing responsible business practices;
  • Build the capacity of individuals in all sectors on sustainable business;
  • Foster collaboration on sustainable development initiatives.

Stakeholders

IBL has been working with numerous like-minded stakeholders, including the Indonesian Ant-Corruption Commission (KPK), national development agencies, naitonal, regional and international NGOs, multinationals and Indonesian business associations.

Activities

IBL is committed to providing information and knowledge about corporate responsibility to companies and other stakeholder in Indonesia. Between 1999 and 2012, the initiative conducted over 50 workshops to build the anti-corruption capacities of Indonesian businesses, including 400 SMEs.

The initiative also published guidelines for SMEs to develop codes of conducts as well as four books on business ethics and code of conduct issues.

In 2014, IBL reinvigorated its efforts by launching the Indonesia Integrity Initiative for promoting and implementing business integrity among business stakeholders.
