Transforming Principles of Integrity and Transparency into Practice in Emerging Markets

Mission

Promote corporate compliance and integrity in Russia and China

Goals

The project aimed to bring the best international corporate compliance practices to Russia and China, raise awareness of the costs of corruption and the benefits of combating it, and introduce innovative management tools and techniques to multinational and local companies.

Stakeholders

The project was implemented by International Business Leaders Forum (IBLF) in cooperation with the School of Public Administration of the Renmin University in China with funding from the Siemens Integrity Initiative.

Activities

The project facilitated experience-sharing through workshops and roundtables, fostered collective approaches to combat corruption in specific industries, and provided educational materials on business ethics to leading business and law schools in Russia. Additionally, it conducted surveys and studies on the business case for integrity in China and supported the initiative through Russian and Chinese language websites and publications offering updates on legislation, management techniques, and global best practices.
