SHTP Business Integrity Action

Mission

Support companies in the Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP) to proactively manage risks, promote integrity and safeguard their businesses

Goals

This initiative aims to support companies in the Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP) to work collectively to proactively manage risks, promote integrity and safeguard their businesses, through a shared commitment to business ethics.

The initiative brings together companies through the signing of an agreement and provides a space for participating companies to report on the actions that they undertake to address corruption risks.

Stakeholders

Signatory companies to the initiative, together with SHTP's board of management, form a steering committee, consisting of volunteers from the membership.

The initiative was developed by Saigon Hi-tech Park and Towards Transparency.

Activities

The initiative developed three integrity tools:

  • A self assessment tool specifically designed for the Vietnamese context, allowing a company to determine where it currently stands on integrity matters.
  • An online training course.
  • A list of companies along with information on the development of their integrity programme.

This information is gathered from open-source data and in some cases has been provided by initiative facilitators.
