Enhance integrity and transparency in public procurement processes across various sectors in Germany

Activities

In the decade from 2005 - 2015, Transparency International Germany helped implement and served as CSO monitor for five Integrity Pacts in Germany. The Integrity Pact model has been adopted by the Howege Housing Authority as a mandatory element for bidders to participate in its tenders.

The largest Integrity Pact that applied to the Berlin-Brandenburg airport resulted in Transparency International Germany withdrawing due to ongoing corruption concerns in its procurement. Nevertheless, the Integrity Pact experiences in Germany have helped develop integrity and compliance standards within Germany.
