Responsible and Secure Business (NRS) Initiative
Mission
Prevent and control money laundering, terrorist financing and smuggling in the business sector in Colombia
Goals
The Responsible and Secure Business (NRS) initiative was established in 2009 with the aim to:
- Encourage and facilitate the integration of anti-money laundering measures, against terrorism financing, through the development and implementation of risk management models;
- Propose measures to the public sector to improve regulation, control, and implementation of the anti-money laundering system in the business sector;
- Commit both the public and private sectors to dialogue on the above issues.
Stakeholders
NRS was born as an alliance between the public sector (regulatory and justice) and the private sector (financial and real estate), to prevent and control money laundering, terrorist financing and smuggling in the business sector in Colombia.
