Mission
Address corruption infrastructure, construction and engineering sectors in the United Kingdom
Goals
The UK Anti-Corruption Forum is an alliance of UK business associations, professional institutions, civil society organisations and companies with interests in the domestic and international infrastructure, construction and engineering sectors. The Forum’s objective is to help create a business environment that is free from corruption. It address issues including:
- Engagement with government on the anti-corruption legal and regulatory environment
- Improving anti-corruption training and codes of conduct
- Helping companies and the professions adopt anti-corruption measures
Other issues tackled by the alliance includes due diligence, corruption issues in overseas negotiations, facilitation payments, debarment, transparency and independent monitoring of construction projects.
Activities
The alliance holds quarterly meetings, engages with government departments on anti-corruption issues, produces publications and organises several working groups.
