Promote good governance and sustainable development in Togo
Goals
The Alliance Nationale des Consommateurs et de l’Environnement (ANCE-TOGO) has adopted a systemic, holistic and inclusive approach for an effective fight against corruption, money laundering and other organized crimes.
Its strategic objectives are to:
- Promote citizen participation in the fight against corruption;
- Promote transparency, integrity, accountability and anti-corruption in the public sector;
- Promote transparency and integrity in the private sector;
- Fight green corruption (environmental crime);
- Combat money laundering and illicit financial flows.
Stakeholders
ANCE-TOGO engages with private sector stakeholders and business associations, such as the Council of Employers and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Togo (CCIT). ANCE-TOGO is a participant in the Basel Institute’s Collective Action Mentoring Programme.
Activities
ANCE-TOGO’s Collective Action efforts focus on developing anti-corruption codes, integrity pacts and the promotion of anti-corruption management standards, as well as maintaining and sustaining strong partnerships with the private sector.
