Mission

Strengthen anti-corruption capacity in the construction sector in Colombia

Goals

The Agremiación Colombiana de Facultades de Arquitectura (ACFA, Association of Architecture Schools) supports the advancement, expansion of coverage and improvement of the quality of education and practice of architecture in Colombia.

Its main objective is to establish inter-institutional relationships (national or international) for the exchange and adoption of best practices that contribute to the continuous improvement of architecture in Colombia through teaching, research, and social responsibility.

Stakeholders

ACFA participates in the Basel Institute’s Collective Action Mentoring Programme.

Activities

ACFA is implementing an agreement with the Colombian Society of Architects (SCA), and the National Professional Council of Architecture and its Auxiliary Professions (CPNAA), with the aim of comprehensively strengthening the capacity of organisations in the construction sector in terms of transparency and the fight against corruption through the joint identification of corruption risks and the implementation of mitigation actions in a Collective Action that includes both the public sector and the private sector.
