Empresarios por la Integridad (Entrepreneurs for Integrity) is a non-profit association of entrepreneurs and senior executives in Peru, dedicated to upholding integrity in their actions and fostering ethical business practices that contribute to the country’s well-being.

Stakeholders

Empresarios por la Integridad participates in the Basel Institute’s Collective Action Mentoring Programme.

Activities

Empresarios por la Integridad implements a project aimed at enhancing the processes for reporting, investigating, and addressing acts of corruption. Through engagement with its private sector members, the initiative identifies challenges businesses face in detecting and reporting corruption. It also collaborates with the public sector to ensure efficient access to reporting channels, prompt and effective responses to complaints, and the establishment of public-private commitments and agreements. These efforts aim to improve internal controls within companies and strengthen the follow-up and investigation processes carried out by the relevant authorities.
