Ukrainian Compliance Association (UCA): building a national collective action platform for integrity and compliance in Ukraine
Mission
Its mission is to bring together compliance professionals, businesses, experts and partner organisations around practical solutions that strengthen corruption prevention, promote responsible business conduct and improve compliance systems across sectors. In a context shaped by war, economic recovery and rising international expectations, the initiative aims to turn compliance from a fragmented function into a stronger shared infrastructure of trust, accountability and responsible growth.
Goals
The Ukrainian Compliance Association was established to build a national multi-stakeholder platform for collective action on integrity and compliance in Ukraine.
Stakeholders
Its main stakeholders include compliance professionals and practitioners, businesses and industry representatives, legal and other subject-matter experts, partner organisations and members of the wider professional community working on responsible business conduct and corruption prevention. This multi-stakeholder composition is central to the initiative’s collective action model.
Activities
The initiative advances this mission through coalition-building, expert dialogue, knowledge generation and public engagement. It works through committees and other professional formats focused on practical integrity and compliance challenges, while also convening broader discussions across the field. Its activities include research and dialogue initiatives to identify the main needs and priorities of the compliance profession in Ukraine, as well as forums, discussions and learning formats that strengthen professional exchange and shared problem-solving. Together, these efforts help build common language, practical approaches and a stronger collective foundation for responsible business conduct and corruption prevention
