Mission
Strengthen legal frameworks, promote public-private dialogue and improve private sector capacity to enhance integrity
Goals
The Global Action for Business Integrity project aims to strengthen legal frameworks, promote public-private dialogue and guide companies and SMEs to develop compliance programmes to prevent and counter corruption in the private sector.
The project is active in eight countries: Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. In addition, the project has a global component which plays a critical role in upscaling effective approaches, achieving sustainability and disseminating good practices on business integrity in global policy.

The project was implemented by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) with funding from the Siemens Integrity Initiative.
Activities
To achieve its objectives, the project implements several activities which:
- Foster legislative reforms to prevent and counter corruption;
- Increase government knowledge of legal frameworks and good practices;
- Improve communication among the public sector, the private sector, civil society and academia. The project provides a common platform for dialogue and knowledge-sharing between the public sector, private sector, civil society and academia for countering and preventing corruption.
