Greater Karachi Water Supply Scheme (K-III Project) Integrity Pact

TI-Pakistan served as the civil society monitor to oversee procurement related to the Greater Karachi Water Supply Scheme (K-III Project) in 2001. The IP has been credited in this project with contributing to greater transparency, corruption prevention, and significant cost savings and value for money for this large infrastructure procurement. This success resulted in Pakistan's procurement rules requiring IPs in all public tenders above PKR 100 million.
